At Serenity Hair & Spa, we value and respect your time, and we work hard to provide every client with the best possible service. To ensure this, we require a valid card on file or a deposit to secure your appointment.

If you prefer not to provide card details, we are happy to accept a 50% non-refundable deposit instead. This can be paid via BACS, over the phone, or in-salon.

We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

• Changes or cancellations made within 48 hours of your scheduled time will result in a 50% charge of the appointment value, which will be processed using the card on file or taken from the deposit.

• However, we now offer a reschedule option for appointments cancelled within 48 hours. Instead of paying the 50% cancellation fee, you can reschedule your appointment to a later date and pay a 50% deposit upfront to secure your new booking. This deposit will then be deducted from the final bill at your rescheduled appointment.

• For no-shows, the full amount (100%) of the service will be charged or retained from the deposit.

The reason for this policy is that cancellations within this time frame make it highly unlikely that we can fill the space at such short notice. This results in lost time and revenue that affects both our team and other clients who may have wished to book during that slot.

To maintain fairness for everyone, we are unable to make exceptions — letting one client off and not the next wouldn’t be right.
